Cookie Policy

This policy sets out how Legal Entity (12345678), which operates SkillRush at https://skillrush.online, uses cookies and comparable technologies. Read it alongside our Privacy Policy.

1.What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device. It lets the site recognise that device on a return visit, hold your preferences, and keep your session secure.

Several other technologies do much the same job, including local storage, session storage, tracking pixels and embedded SDKs. Throughout this policy the word cookies covers all of them.

2.Categories we use

2.1 Strictly Necessary

Without these the Platform cannot run, so they cannot be turned off. They handle sign-in, session integrity, protection against cross-site request forgery, load distribution, and the record of your own consent choices.

2.2 Functional

These remember choices you have made — interface language, theme, the lobby you last visited. They are set once you consent, or where they are the only way to deliver something you specifically asked for.

2.3 Analytics

Where enabled, these show us which pages get used and how people move through the Platform. They are set only after you consent through the banner. We look at the results in aggregate to decide what to improve, not to identify anyone.

2.4 Third-Party

Some functions depend on outside providers — payment processing, identity verification, fraud screening. Those providers set cookies of their own under their own policies, which we do not control. We suggest reading them.

3.How consent works

A banner appears on your first visit with three options:

• Accept all, which enables every category above
• Reject non-essential, which leaves only the strictly necessary cookies in place
• Manage preferences, which lets you decide category by category

Your answer is stored so the banner does not reappear on every visit. Strictly necessary cookies are always set, as the Platform will not work without them.

4.Changing your mind

4.1 The Cookie Preferences link in the footer lets you revisit or withdraw consent whenever you like.

4.2 Your browser also gives you control. Most let you inspect, delete or block cookies:

• Chrome: chrome://settings/cookies
• Firefox: about:preferences#privacy
• Safari: Preferences, then Privacy
• Edge: edge://settings/content/cookies

4.3 Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break parts of the Platform. You will not stay signed in, for one.

5.How long they last

Session cookies disappear when you close the browser. Persistent ones stay for a set period, usually no more than twelve months, unless you remove them sooner. We hold your consent choice for twelve months and then ask again.

6.Eea, UK and swiss users

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, our legal bases under the GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive are:

• Strictly necessary cookies: our legitimate interest in running a secure service, and where relevant our obligation to deliver what you asked for
• Functional, analytics and third-party cookies: your consent, given freely and specifically, which you may withdraw at any point

You may access, correct, delete or object to the processing of personal data gathered through cookies. Write to support@skillrush.online to do so. You may also complain to the data protection authority where you live.

7.Do not track

Some browsers send a Do Not Track signal. No agreed standard governs how sites should interpret it, and we do not currently act on it. The banner and your browser settings remain the way to control what we set.

8.Updates

We revise this policy when the cookies we use change or when the law requires it. Significant changes are announced on the Platform, and the date at the top always reflects the most recent revision.
