Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of SkillRush (the "Platform"), operated by SkillRush (), located at . By accessing or using the Platform at skillrush.placeholder, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

1.1 You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher) to create an account or use the Platform.

1.2 You must be legally permitted to participate in skill-based competitions under the laws of England and Wales and your local jurisdiction.

1.3 Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of SkillRush may not participate in prize competitions.

2. Accounts

2.1 You must register with accurate, current information and keep it up to date.

2.2 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.

2.3 One account per person. Creating multiple accounts is strictly prohibited (see Section 6).

2.4 We may refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts at our discretion, including for suspected fraud, abuse, or violation of these Terms.

3. Skill-Based Nature of Games

3.1 All competitive games on SkillRush are skill-based. Outcomes are determined predominantly by player skill (reaction time, strategy, dexterity, decision-making), not by chance.

3.2 Matchmaking uses seeded, deterministic game states so competing players face identical conditions.

3.3 SkillRush is not a gambling service. No game offered is a lottery, wager, or game of chance.

4. Virtual Currencies

4.1 The Platform uses two virtual currencies:

• **Fun Coins**: a free, promotional currency used for practice and social play. Fun Coins has no monetary value, cannot be purchased, redeemed, transferred, or withdrawn, and may be adjusted or removed at any time.
• **Gold Coins**: a competition currency that may be earned, purchased, or won in eligible competitions. Gold Coins may be redeemable for real-world value subject to (a) successful identity verification (KYC), (b) applicable minimums and fees, and (c) our Refund and Redemption policies.

4.2 Virtual currencies are a limited licence to use the Platform's features. You do not own them and they are not your property.

4.3 We may suspend redemption pending review of suspected fraud, chargebacks, sanctions screening, or breach of these Terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable law;
• misrepresent your identity, age, or country of residence;
• interfere with the Platform's operation, security, or other users' enjoyment;
• reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code except as permitted by law;
• scrape, harvest, or bulk-download content, data, or user information;
• transmit malicious code, spam, or unsolicited communications.

6. Prohibited Conduct in Competitions

The following are grounds for immediate account termination and forfeiture of balances:

• **Cheating**: exploiting bugs, memory editing, packet manipulation, or any modification that alters game state or outcome;
• **Automation**: use of bots, macros, scripts, aim assistance, or AI-driven inputs of any kind;
• **Collusion**: coordinating with other players to manipulate match outcomes, matchmaking, or leaderboards;
• **Multi-accounting**: operating more than one account, sharing accounts, or account boosting;
• **Payment fraud**: chargebacks, stolen instruments, or use of third-party payment credentials;
• **Identity fraud**: submission of false KYC documents or use of another person's identity.

7. Fees, Entries, and Prizes

7.1 Entry amounts, prize structures, and platform fees are shown clearly before you enter any competition.

7.2 Once an entry is confirmed, it is final. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

7.3 Prize payouts are subject to KYC, sanctions screening, and any withholding required by applicable law.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 The Platform, including game code, artwork, branding, and content, is owned by SkillRush or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.

8.2 You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Platform for personal, non-commercial purposes.

8.3 User-submitted content (usernames, avatars, chat) grants us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and moderate it in connection with operating the Platform.

9. Suspension and Termination

9.1 We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, applicable law, or the integrity of the Platform.

9.2 On termination, unredeemed Fun Coins is forfeited. Gold Coins may be forfeited where termination is caused by fraud, cheating, or serious breach.

9.3 You may close your account at any time by contacting support@skillrush.placeholder.

10. Disclaimers

10.1 The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10.2 We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

11. Limitation of Liability

11.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, SkillRush and its officers, employees, and agents are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, or goodwill.

11.2 Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to us in the 6 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) EUR 100.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SkillRush from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Platform.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the Platform or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by English law. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you.
